The ability to record blow by blow accounts of Fluffy's competition conquests.

Working with honors

How to bring up the honors page:

  1. Click on the "Honors" button on the bottom toolbar.

The "Grand Title" data will be stored as a record in the "Identification" list located in "Personal/Information". Any changes to the record via the "Grand Title" fields or from the "Identification" table fields will be reflected accordingly in both views. Hence, it follows that clearing the data in "Grand Title" fields will delete its record from the "Identification" list, and that an error will occur if the "Grand Title" data has the same set of information with another record in the "Identification" list.

Adding, editing, deleting and sorting records from the table follows from Working with tables.

Each record in the table has a honors log. Selecting a record will display its log in the "Honors Log" textview. Following Mac conventions, if multiple records are selected and not all the corresponding honors logs are exactly the same, the greyed out text "Multiple selection" will be displayed. Editing the "Honors Log" while multiple records are selected will change the logs of all the selected records.

Each commit is preceded by appropriate sanity checks, as listed below:

  1. If Fluffy's Log beeps when an attempt is done to change "Date", it means that you have tried a non calendar date. There is no error message for this case because beeping is the default Cocoa behaviour, yah... programming stuff.
  2. If a competition record is changed, Fluffy's Log checks that the data in that record is unique.
